Hello, my name is Gina Popp, and I’m a Realtor with Re/Max Dallas Suburbs — Team Athey. I also have a long history of writing both as an advertising copywriter and as a historical fiction author. In short, I love writing. And I love real estate. Here on this blog is where I decided to combine my two passions. I hope you enjoy it.

Writing is an emotional business. And buying and selling homes is an emotional process for people. So I can identify. Home is where you live a great portion of your life. It is where memories are made. And security is found. 

But enough about my story. Let’s talk about you. 

If you’re a buyer, I can help find the right home, mortgage and lender for your specific needs. There are many options out there, including a few you may not know about. For instance, did you know there was such a thing as a Zero Down Loan? Or special programs for teachers and first responders?

Perhaps you just want to get pre-qualified first so you’ll know how much home you can buy. No, I don’t do your financial stuff, but I will set you up with a lender who will. (So don’t be concerned if you know me personally that I will be privy to your net worth—that’s private information between you and your loan officer.)

And if you’re a seller, I promise I will strive to keep the listing and negotiation processes as low-stress as possible. Plus thanks to my advertising background, you can count on me to market your home in the best way possible.
